What is Nutrition?
Nutrition is the consumption of food necessary for health and growth. Despite what you see on T.V. and social media, there is no one-size-fits-all nutrition plan. What is “good nutrition” for one individual may not be nourishing and energizing for another. Each of us require different amounts of nutrients depending on our bodies, lifestyles, circumstances, and goals. Developing healthy nutrition habits comes down to understanding macronutrients and micronutrients how those various nutrients affect you, and applying that information to create a nutrition plan as unique as you. Additionally, it is important to reflect on the habits and behaviors that surround food. Nutrition isn’t just about eating healthier, but also the interconnectedness of how we feel, think, and behave towards food. Ultimately, transforming into the best version of yourself begins with understanding the current state of your nutrition and what steps are needed to revive it.
What We Offer
We offer a 3-month nutrition plan for $150 a month. The 3-month minimum commitment timeline allows for time to change daily habits and routines which add up to greater lifestyle changes. This is the key to long term success with your nutrition and fitness. It is not about what you can do in 3 months, but what you will be set up to do for the rest of your life. Whether your goals are to lose fat, gain muscle, perform better, or simply thrive, your coach will guide you there.
The Process
Our nutrition coaches take a macro-based approach. Counting macronutrients teaches you about the quality of your nutrition, your body, and how the two work together. Whether you are familiar with tracking macros or have never heard of macros before, we will begin with weighing and measuring your food to better understand food quality and quantity. Your coach will monitor your daily intake through MyFitnessPal - looking at both the quality and quantity of the food that you consume - and will make adjustments to support your individual goals week to week.
